Our Mission
Orana Resources is an Aotearoa New Zealand-owned business on a mission to decarbonise industrial heat. We recover forestry residues, agricultural byproducts and processed wood waste — material that would otherwise decompose and release methane — and upgrade it through torrefaction into densified, high-energy wood pellets and briquettes. The result is a clean, locally made, drop-in replacement for coal and natural gas that keeps value in the New Zealand economy and turns an environmental liability into a productive renewable asset.
